Evil Genius 2: World Domination, a proper sequel at EG1

If you wanted an updated version of Evil Genius, this might be the game you were looking for and it is better than the previous games from Rebellion. Evil Genius 2 is the fourth video game on the franchise, third from the same developer. EG2 has reached a new high, it is a proper sequel and compared to the two previous games, it is much improved. This is a true sequel, very similar to what you already know. So, if you have expected something new or wildly different you might be disappointed.

Hopefully, you are here for the management features and nice layouts as it's the area where the video game excels. Also, you may be here because you are looking for new PS5 games of strategy. EG2 is one of the best real-time strategy games for PlayStation 5, and the administrative parts of this tycoon game works! Where it sucks is in the bizarre explanations and narrative elements. As an example you no longer send minions out to commit crimes and then bring them back to the lair, minions are one-time use and can be disposed of. You send out a minion out to complete a task and they get back the results after which they either die or quit, each time.

It just feels stupid when you're trying to build felonious don't want to keep folks who are good and encourage them. Nope, each and every candidate you choose to hire completes one job and retires. The more I think about this the more I dislike it that's regrettable since the video game is perfectly fine. I hope Rebellion will do something with this issue I am having. It makes no sense. But this doesn't stop it to be one of my favorite PS5 games of real-time strategy.

The best part (for me) was to relax and take in the ambiance of the whole thing, and really drag out the slow narration by micromanaging your soldiers to ensure that you don't get too hot while carving up your mountain, and making sure that your soldiers are alive long enough to expand your forces and enhance them. It was notable that it maintained its parody from the Bond villain idea through the story and even little specifics like watching your minions move money into or out of your vault whereas if you were watching your own ant-farm.
